To be a Kindergarten or School Doctor in Waldorf settings requires completing the Continued Training to become a Kindergarten and School Doctor in Kindergartens and Waldorf Schools (or Waldorf-Institutions).

An international continuing education conference for school and kindergarten doctors is held annually at the Goetheanum. Lectures, case presentations, working groups and plenary discussions are offered to work on changing topics relevant for different age groups. In addition, there are opportunities to exchange ideas with other school doctors, as well as share experiences with therapists and educators. 
Furthermore, there are also regional meetings of school physicians, specialist conferences on school eurythmy therapy and further training in anthroposophic paediatrics.
