
TRAININGS IN THE UK
TRAINING CURRICULUM
The course is aimed at equipping the trainees with the necessary knowledge and experience to support the child in the school setting. The aim is to grow the knowledge and understanding of child development and intervention from a truly anthroposophic understanding in our schools. At the same time, their knowledge includes up-to-date safeguarding and mental health interventions. The training is open to doctors, nurses, teachers and therapists.

SCHOOL HEALTH PRACTITIONERS TRAINING
Q: Is the UK training the same as the International training?
A: The International training is aiming at medical doctors wishing to support children at kindergarten and school. While the UK training also includes teachers and therapists working at school. Their title go with their prime profession and their services reflected as well.

Q: How did the UK training come about?
A: School Health Practitioners Training was born out of the low intake of school doctors and also the need to deepen the anthroposophic understanding of child development among staff within the Steiner schools.
